A tall man slouched at the bar, his wide shoulders casting an ominous shadow across the small barman as he scurried about cleaning and filling mugs. Garcon was perched precariously on the end of a tall stool his legs and left arm dangling lax at his sides. He had been drinking steadily through the night, and only now was he showing signs of it. His blue eyes were heavily blood-shot and he swayed ever so slightly whenever he called for another mug of the cheap ‘Anblacos’ wine; the only intoxicating drink he could afford
