Standing before you the one that you seek
just quicken your tongue, stand and speak
to open a door to a world not of yours
just open your eyes and break all your laws.

If hearts are empty and only hatred stand there
Then one will be sentenced by a judge must unfair!

Tooth and claw and hand and fist
will come to those who would destroy our bliss

In silence are things waiting to be found
like treasures and keys and words most profound

Look around you heart that is strong
and prey to all gods that you are not wrong.

this is a poem from a story I've been fiddling with for ages!
I have posted a unnumbered chapter from it called 'Garcon' but it has no mention to the poem.
I don't even know why I'm posting it, I wrote it ages and ages ago, at least 4 or 5 years ago in fact. ^^"

Well it's still one of my favorite poems
(that sounds kind off full of myself doesn't it, that one of my favorite poems is one i wrote *sigh* well it is)

in the story it is written, carved into the frame of a large mirror in a dusty room. one of the characters read it and as they are reading it, is unknowingly sucked into the mirror and transported to an other dimension (not really an other dimension but something like it). there they meet the god of emotion and his companion an ancient dragon

Tell me what you think, I would appreciate it

Awesome line.

And never read aloud anything you find. It is a sure fire way to be cursed, end up in another world, or activate some weird spell. O_O

that is exactly what i was thinking when i wrote it, 'never read aloud anything you find' especially in a dust old house where shadows follow you around at the very edge of your vision.

you know you seem to pick up on, and like the very things I'm afraid aren't working ^^
that line 'In silence are things waiting to be found - and so on', albeit one of my favorites is worrisome.
so thank you for being you and liking the very things that I'm worrying about.

I promise to always like the things that worry other people and cuddle the things that scare the bejee'bas out of others.

Besides, it was an awesome line. In silence there is so much being unsaid. Consider two people too in pain to speak to one another. They stare at one another, tears in their eyes, lips pressed together so firmly that the flesh pales, and they are silent....so tense and silent. There is SO much there....in that silence.

it never ceases to amaze me how, i can wake up have a terrible morning, get on Deviant art and be cheered up. I rarely leave here angry or depressed, tough i rarely leave here happy either. usually just with a quiet sense of content. I really don't understand it.

What's to not understand? I find the general people around me don't understand me (not in an Emo way, just a 'What are you doing? What are you into? That's kinda...weird' reaction) But here....it's alllllll normal.

It gives us a sense of belonging and it allows us to reach out toward others of our ilk and be understood. ^_^ Contentness is natural.

Well, I just enjoy screaming in general. LOL If there is truth in it, all the better!
